Let's face it, introspection can be hard, awkward, uncomfortable, and it is absolutely necessary to effect change and positive growth. Often the very things that stand in our way are those things that have made our successes thus far. Evolution is necessary. As we as individuals grow and our companies grow, we can be so busy, so comfortable in the way we've always done things, or the way we've been taught, that we don't see the negative impact on our co-workers, leader teams, and often our family members.
You may have heard, or have said yourself, "But that's the way we've always done it." This is usually a strong indicator that things may be frozen in the past.
